usually cos of the sparks or HT leads, but check the dizzy,

i managed to get my coil pack wet cost me £145 to replace

they did try that and it did work for about a 6 hours, then fucked up again

my audi did this
rotor arm and dizzy cap
the corsa did it, it was plugs and leads
the fiat did it but it was shit so who cares

basicly check/replace igniton system includung the crank and cam sensor
then
look to the headgasket? get a compression test done
