No, the problems would just be down to the ammonia. I doubt with only a few fish that you'll have any though so I wouldnt worry!

They'll probably just get eaten by the larger fish, either as eggs or when they first hatch.

If you wanted to keep them and raise them a bit then you'll need to buy a hatchery, or keep your old tank just for eggs/young fish!

Yeah thats what i though...

At the mo the male and female (who made the eggs) are in the new big tank on their own...

See what happens i guess, could hav emy 1st lot of fish on uk flava soon

they will be micky mouse platies that you have i would have thought.Every man and his dog use platies to cycle a tank.im currently doing a fishless cycle so wont be able to add fish for abou 2 weeks or more.Reason is the fish i want to stock are not hardy enough to cope with a cycle like the platies.
