I thought there was a belt that has to be changed ever so often on Corsa's and if it snaps it can fuck your engine up big time ?  its a W reg 2000 SXI Corsa B, they said there is just a chain.... no belt.
Some one enlighten me please.

timing chain/belt, i was under the impression that only the 1.0 12v used a chain, must be wrong

1.2i SXi has a timing chain, not a belt...
good for 100k miles or so...
