Just thought I would post this as maybe useful.
The gear selection on my corsa C got progressively worse and in the end I had to have a whole new gear linkage fitted which costs 159quid. Mine went really bad very quickly and I ended up with no first or second gear.
The car has done 70K and is out of warranty, so if your corsa is near the end of its warranty and it is becoming a little difficult to get in gear. Save youreself 160quid and get it done under warranty before it goes all together like mine! I have read in forums that there is actually a recall on Corsa C's so it maybe worth taking it in anyway.
Other problems I've had and recified:
1: Buzzing noise coming from the passenger door area when fans are on or travelling at 60+mph
Problem was due to a thin plastic sheet that lines the skin of the door and it wasn't stuck down properly. Kept vibrating.
2: Hand brake needed tightening.
3: Front pads wore out very quickly, in the end I put it down to crappy Vauxhall parts. Bought some cheap pads from halfords and they lasted 7-8K longer.
