Got quite a few problems with my car , and I'm just wondering what the cause could be , and If I am able to fix them myself instead of paying to have it done ....
The car is running rich - my last full tank only did 150 miles 
The fanbelt may be loose , as the battery light comes on when going through puddles , and theres a slight squeek at idle .
My seat belt wont retract when I take it off , very loose .
Theres a rubbing noise at the off side rear arch , when I go around a corner .
The temperature gauge in the dash isnt working ...
Not really very serious , but dead annoying ! Anyone got any advice ?

get a haynes manual for like 15 quid from halfords and have a read...will tell u how to fix the gauge, seatbelt and fanbelt.
arches will need investigating by jackin the car and turnin the wheel to see whats catching where.
and some fuel additive to clean the engine may cure the overfuelling but dont quote me on that!
