replace the hose with???

You mean replace the fuel regulator!

You need a std fuel pressure regulator if you want to swap it out!

I wouldnt adjust it without a pressure gauge..... too far either way and your car will run crap

just replace it!!! disconnect the battery etc, dinny smoke..... have some thing to catch fuel coming out the pipes....

get a haynes manual - no doubt it will give a breif skirt through the std regulator

standard regulator bolts onto the end of the fuel rail if you got multipoint injection, might require a new 0 ring to fit it, but its a simple case of 2-3 bolts

you should have 3 pipes going into the regulator, one is straight from the tank at pressure, one is a return back to the tank low pressure and one will be going to the fuel rail at the new pressure created by the power boost valve, adjusting the valve changes the pressure going to the fuel rail

Thats wrong.

There are 2 big ones, and a small one.

One is the fuel return from the fuel rail, other fuel return from the regulator.

Small one is a vacuum pipe from the inlet manifold.

The braid is probably a gay overbraid styling thing.
