Christ o feckin mighty cant people move on, yeh so what hes dead, people go on about him like he god and he did so much for the music, but they were plently of other bands that influenced the music more.

I think you will find he was a massive influence on music and even if you dont like rock you will find that somewhere along the lines his music influenced what you listen to

I think you'll find that he was only one of many bands at the time. his just got more pop play than others.

look at the 4AD back catalogue for the early 90's and you'll see who I mean. grunge was just not Nirvana. just like every other artist they listened to music and adapted it into something a bit different

Saw Mudhoney in Glasgow last year or year before. Hearing their old stuff again was but not too keen on latest tunes.
