Got Eibach 50mm springs on my car, handling is good and ride quality isnt too hard, didnt really notice a difference in hardness over standard, although standard 106 gti suspension is quite stiff anyway.

Will Apex -40mm springs and dampers be stupidly stiff or will they be not too bad?

Cant really go much lower cos of my drive... its quite steep! How much would the -30mm eibach springs and koni yellow shocks cost? I want a good compromise between ride height, handling and comfort if its possible!!

the -50mm are too low m8, not hardly any lower than my Apex -40mm so they would probably be fine.

Eibach springs r around £120 and the Dampers are about £200 - £250 the set.

I got eibachs on mine. They are unbelieveably good. My bro has had Apex and Gmax on his GTi 6, and they have both been absolute poo.

Well worth paying the extra. On a pug its only the front springs, but i can image a corsa dropped all round on eibachs would be the absolute dogs.

Dependant on your budget you want Bilstein Dampers and Eibach springs, best in the world

i was meant to have them dampers until the nob sold them to u. Glad i didn't get them now. As for ride quality ur not going to get a really good ride quality on a big drop. Use 40mm or soemthing instead. GMax are meant to be shit

If ride is shocking it will be your dampers. It what way shocking? Bouncy? How old are the dampers and what bumpstops are you using?

i have apex -40 springs in on standard dampers. Ride is alright but the road holding isnt THAT good but id say this is due to the mismatch spring damper combo.

Also the apex springs didnt lower -40 like they say they should.

im -60 on apex shocks and springs and the ride aint that bad at all

bumpy, but thats the way i like it, lets me know im driving a modded car.

compared to my old set up ( -35 on standard shocks) the apex -60mm set up (with dampers) is much better in terms of road holding and ride quality
