i got my clifford concept 300 installed for £250, payed an extra 20 for headlight activation, £30 for boot release.

its a great alarm, and can be added to easilty, and comes with lifetime warrenty! ive had mine in about a year and had no probs whatso ever.

make sure you get it put in properly

in my opinion the proximity aitn worht the hassle as it beeps even if people walk past. and there are internal sensors.if someone wants to get close and do something, they will have done it before the alarm raises any concern.

Agreed! Very good alarms but only when they are installed properly... They have recieved mixed reviews on quality but its all down to installation at the end of the day.

250 was the quoted price, the add ons are that price aswell. they did a quality job, they do loads of work for the emergency services (sat nav and the like) so i knew they were quality! the fit is amazin, cant tell its there apart from the light and switch, an the siren in the bonnet!

was gonna go for it but there was a corsa there with it on, and you have to leave it in neutral(i think), press a button, and then turn it off, it like stalls it. you cant do it just every time.

so decided against it

Once my alarm is fitted in january do If I let my Insurance company know straight away will my insurance premium get lowered there and then, or will I need to wait untill my insurance is up for renewal in about 9months time???

Also whats a Clifford 300 classed as - CAT1 / CAT2 / etc... etc...

the concept is cat 1, if you let them know straight away you will need to send off the certificate in most casses (although not some) but the premium will be lowered a little on the spot. But will go down more the following year more.

My advice is make them see the certificate, as they wount give you as much discount as if they didnt. They lowered mine by like 50, and i was like "what!", they said with online sales of a cat1 thats the premium, cos they cant see the certificate. So i said ill send ou it, and they well ok, it'll come down like 3 times that then.

personally i have heard nothing but bad storys about clifford.

Also i would prefure not to have to many keyrings fobs etc, thats why im getting a system which works off my current central locking fob.

Its a full Cat 1 Alarm system, just uses the vaux remote instead of yet another fob.

yes u can get that as an extra also,

as well as loads of other things,

most companies supply TOAD alarms,

the model is a A850T,

however when shopping around you need to ask for a 2 to 1 (2:1) upgrade alarm.
