it will fail the MOT emissions test. You can take the cat out if its on or pre L reg(i think) most corsas are out of that age range.

best option is to get a sports CAT, mostly the same result but it wount fail.

Keep in mind the police can not test emissions on the road side, if you fail they can deem it unfit to be on the road, and that means they can take your car, there and then

thanks greg, wud i b wrong in thinkin that the cat and the silencer r the same box! that big 1 in da middle, is this wot the seibring gets rid of!

no the cat is different from the centre section, the cat is staright afetr the manifold the cente silencer follows this then down to the back box, it would pass an mot!

apparently, if u have the sebring centre secton u wud still pass the MOT. this is rite innit?
