trottys sxi has had the centre silencer removed at longlife aswell as me and his car sonds v.nice IMO.
Exhaust also stay shiny not go rusty like some......

will sound "raspy" and a wee bit tractor like at high revs. Get them to take out the center section and replace it with a stainless section and a smaller silencer, that way the pressure wont be lost and the exhust will still stay loud.

my mate had a smaller silencer put on his c sxi it didnt make that nuch of a difference noise wise but i dont know about performance, waste of money really thats why im gonna go for the straight through, it will sound much better

I was looking at getting this done on my C but ascar In Sheffield wanted £150.00 to do it

I have heard bad stories as well.

So i have left mine alone, does anyone know who did chris_uk's ???

Just rang regal, and apparently there are 2 pipes to replace the centre section, and the price of both pipes is £170.

i just had mine done m8 and its fcukin LOUD !!!
tis a bit raspy at high revs .....but in low revs it soundz sweet

and when its idleing it just purrs nicely

nah not de-cated...just took the rear silencer box thinghy out and replaced it with a pipe

all welded up and everything all for £25

Thinking of getting my scorpian centre section replaced with a 2.5 bore pipe but dont really want to have a good quality scorpian part replaced by something from elsewhere may jus get a decat done!!

I have a sebring center section and removed my silencer - If anything it seems faster! and louder!

81 bhp on the rollers, definately 6 bhp increase (and thats with it running lean according to the bloke who did it)

Dont get powerflow as they use crap grade stainless in the pipework, go to longlife there work is top notch.

its what im doing, when i rusts through, ill weld another piece of pipe in. its only £6 for 2m of exhuast piping.
you only need 2 ft to remove cat and centre section

corsa_x_15 where did you get it done? ive tried power flow but they want 130 notes, and ive tried loads of tyre and exhaust places and they jus wont do it any reccomendations?????
