Why the fuck would you want to do that. 
 
Surely IMAP is easier as well

Indeed, ports are all forward and done a canyouseeme.org

It's for a home user on a proper old Mac. Might just force them to use owa

Got a contractor looking at this for me.  I've no real experience with Macs apart from a media centre i have in the living room. Other guy i work with hasn't a scooby about Macs either. Just not got time as i've another install to do and the customer called shouting earlier apparently when i was out. He want to just update to Snow Lepard - Mail works a treat with Exchange.  
 
I'll find out how he resolves this and keep you geeks posted
