electronic transducer on top of the gear box. basically its an electronic speedo drive. replace it, if you can get hold of a god one. speak to duick on novaload as he can get stuff from vaux overseas. parts that are no longer avaliable here

tranducer usually comes with the digi dash as you need it to get a reading off the box. do you get a speed in mph showing or is it just random or 0?

well im sure i have it as everything works apart from the mileometer if you get me (thort it was called the odometer)
in other words, how can i get the mileage working on the dash as its not
(my cars been at 10,000 miles for 2+ months lol)

yea its the odometer. if the speedo is working but the mileage is not counting up then theres a problem with the manual fingers inside the dash.(the fingers turn the numbers) i had mine wound back to the milage of the car.
if you are getting a speed then easiest way would be new dash unit

Splitting a digidash is piss easy.
Its just like a normal dash, but with a wiring plug.
The odometer just unclips from the dash circuit board.(Check the connection pins on it before replacing it)
