Will a Digi Dash from an 8V GTE run on a 1997 Post face lift Corsa, the speedo type is electronic but the digi dash supposedly comes with a transducer.

Cheers,
Sean.

If you currently have an electronically fed speedo in your Corsa, I doubt very much if you will need the transducer anyway. The digital dash should read the electronic pulses from your current setup.
Mine has dropped straight in, I never had any need for the transducer on mine.

I may go ahead and buy it then, I dont know though if the code at the bottom of my speedo will be correct so that I can actually use the digi dash.

The code on your Corsa speedo is for the tyre/wheel size to calculate the actual speed I believe.
On the digital dash, there is a switch that compensates between two different tyre/wheel combinations. I'm sure some Astras had 14" rims, others had 15", but unless your looking at a rolling radius far different to standard, the speedo should read ok.

Do you mean the original digital dash or how it looks now?
