engine is a modified c20let. was slightly tapping for a few days when cold. now sounds like it hasnt got a manifold on it when its reved but ok on idle.
its fuckin loud!
oil pressure is good although ime not sure if head pressure is good or not looks oily underneath the cap though. nothing obvious like manifold -head flange loose etc. any ideas what it could be/ likely to be before it gets the stripdown?

problem solved. if you wont a job doin properly, do it yourself!
only had this a year tops


replacement home brew style

next time it runs should be seeing 400+hp.

that a crack in the manifolds?
Stay away from the jap crap stuff. very cheap metal very thin will always crack

yeah crank right down the centre of two of the welds on runners 3 and 4 and a big hole to boot
the jap one seems ok beardy tbh. heard lots of storys about shoddy quality etc but is as thick as my old one but mandrel bent runners so surely not as much chance in cracking? welding around the collector looks decent and i trust my own ability with the head and turbo flanges so hopefully all will be ok.
where do they usaully break/crack?
was a s14 one, only gave £80 through bidding rather than buy it now so not to worried about how long it lasts
