24 is a c*nt
On the gearbox is a plastic drive with teeth. This measures the vehicle speed.
Fault 24 means the signal is broken. Could be gear driven drive itself or a break in the connection somewhere along the line.

depending on which model you have you need to short out pins in the plug socket next to the fuses in your fuse box. the engine management light flashes a certain code which translates to the fault which caused it

24 rings a bell, if im correct, try running the test with the engine running, i think you will find 24 disappears
