what a bunch of clowns. Iasked specifically for the ADSL (non cable package)

they just rang up and said they have swapped me over and will send an engineer out for £35 to install my modem.

I said WTF i can setup an adsl modem FFS, to which the indian woman told me i am now on cable

Have now cancelled Virgin and am with pipex

just thought i would warn people. They will sign you up to all osrts and you cant understand them due to some paki call centre

How can you have managed to hear about virgin being bad and still go with TalkTalk.
Why not try the free orange broadband you get

Just wondering, why did you want ADSL over cable, in my experience cable tends to perform better and be alot more reliable, I know theoretically cable can bottleneck but I have never actually seen this happen.
