just got broadband put in my house and gone through everything it told me to but it wont let me online

keeps saying cannot find server.

virgin are having technical problems so cant phone them

any idea's? ps. im on my dads computer at his house

Broadband actually active on your line (LED on your router telling you the connection is active)?

If it is, sounds like TCP/IP settings on your computer.
