Thought they were hardend, I was only making tiny dents with the chissel!

I thought it would have been a bad idea to burn them off, because of the rubber doughnut between the 2 which I need to keep in one peice preferably

Well, I have anew bottom pulley. I have bought an underdrive item from Mr Astley, but I need to keep my original toothed belt drive and rubber doughnut so I can fix it to my new pulley. I've finished working for today, I might just try hammering fook out of it tomorrow.

Unless someone has one already split?
