hey guys,

Was driving along in my car nice n carefully, slowing down for speed bumps, when i heard some really funny noises and my car lost power, i immediatly thought my cambelt had snapped. I then opened my bonnet up, and it was still on, tryed to start it quickly and it seems to turn over very very quickly, like there is no compression, I think its slipped, how much can you get away with it slipping? and how do i check how much, I heard there is a mark on the bottom pulley, and one on each cam pulley, do they all have to face 12 o'clock? or if i put the bottom pulley at 12 o'clock then will it show how much the cams are out?
