How big a job is it to fit a 1.4 16v engine into a 1.2 16v corsa b? Would the 1.2 gearbox be ok on the 1.4 engine?

Personally i would either go 16XE, or even better XE/LET.

Gearbox should fit on 1.4 though. It's not a big job though, I think you can use the standard mounts, shafts etc etc But you will need the loom and ECU. Which ever car you getting the ECU from, be sure to also get the chip in the key and the transponder by the ignition barrel.

can standard mounts be used for a 1.6


im tight and wanar save money
