For some reason, position 1, 2 and 3 dont work in my car - yet 4 does. I woke up yesterday morning (car is always is position 1, and position 2 in the winter) and i noticed no air was coming out of the vents. I tried all of the positions (except 4) and nothing happened. I switched it to 4, and it started blasting out as it would normally. Then i tried 1, 2 and 3 again, but still nothing. 4 still works mind
What do you think is wrong with it...

could be the connections on the back of the switch - my astra did this last year - its all or nothing aint it - have you had the heater panel out for any reason?!

Nah its never been out. It was working fine one day, and just stopped afterwards. Would it be easy to repair?

I'll place £10 on it being the blower motor resistor. The same thing happened with my ads rover the other week and i change quite a few at work. Couldnt tell you how to do it though as ive never attempted one on a corsa. Haynes manual should help
