I have did a search and tried and tested all the theories in the CS search engine, but cant seem to understand why my 1994 Corsa B indicators won't work.....

I have;

Checked and replaced relays - as last one was making a noise and had a burning smell
Checked Fuses
Checked the hazard switch isn't upside down

I have ran out of ideas, one side works other is really dull and then the relay makes a loud beeping noise as if i've left my lights on and opening the driverside door?

Also all indicators work when i turn the alarm on and off, just not when driving it lights up constant but does not flash

Any idea peeps??

check the actual stalks them selves. remove steering colum plastic cover, then stalks are clipped in behind.

check the wiring to them etc as the alarm wont be wired into the stalks, just into the indicator wiring. ive burnt a set of stalks on a nova once due to bad wiring in the car and a water leak from having no windscreen in

i agree with whats been said, other than the stalk switch then must be the alarm. The stalk is easy to change tho, could have just fallen apart inside? try another one from a scrappy since it'll b a lot cheaper than an hours+ labour 4 them 2 look at ur alarm!

Well mate I wud say that you have a bad earth somwhere, do you have after market rear clusters? if so I wud start there checking the connections and earthing points, then possibly the ones in the engine bay, then the ones uinder the steering column, scraping away any paint under these points

As stated above check your earth connections, and clean them up.If that doesn't work then its onto faulty wiring.
99% of eradical lights is down to bad earths or connections.Check the connections to the rear lights, are they corroded or feel loose?.Get someone to operate the indicators as you move the connections to see if its a bad connection etc.

To check earthing points, look for wires attached to bodywork with a screw.Look in engine bay, boot under carpet near lights etc.

It sounds like a bit of a earthing problem to me.
I know you have said you checked the hazard switch but i had a similar problem with my old Corsa.
Have you tried changing thr hazard switch for another one?

Might be the answer... might not.
