my mate bought some 6by9 speakers today but he aint sure weather they are any good or not, he was told they were good but im not convinced! they are ripspeed PSR-69 speakers 80watts 40rms? he bought them for 30 qid from halfrauds lol! will they sound ok?

Halfords think everything they sell is good if they can get some money out of you  And i second what vaux mad said.
Careful you dont end up opening up the whole "are 6x9s worth it or not" debate

i got a pair of 6x9's off fleabay for £25 posted, brad new. the box said 100w rms, but obv being connected to head unit they couldnt manage that but they were still proper loud....i think they were Boschmann ones, bought the components too
