hello all,
right i have a problem with my corsa , it is missings underload. it dus it from cold and when its hot. i have taken it to a garage and they changed the EGR valve and plugs and ht leads,
but now the car still playing up. i have bin told that it could be some other things.
Id like to no if the car has a afm ? also has anyone got one for sale ?
also has anyone got a crank sensor aswell?

you think? i took the plugs out 2day and to where oily but only on the top of the plug where the socket went over ,
what about crank sensor ? or map sensor

if ur cars idling crappy check the vacuum pipes on the map sensor to see if there spit but my car was mising under load ( 1.4 16v ) pulled head off and found gasket to have gone letting water into cylinder 4 replaced gasket all ok

worst case sticky valves in the head, most common thing on them apart from the egr valve

where is the map sensor located on the engine?

the MAP sensor plug is located above the coolant tank. Basically it looks like its connecting to the plastic cover which contains ur wipers (separates front windscreen from bonnet cover. ) Dont have any photos to show u where it is though. hope this helps

i checked the vacum pipes for the map sensor and they're fine
any1 else got an ideas?
