I get my engine fitted in the next couple of weeks once ita back from reburb and i was getting all my parts ready for it and now im looking at an air filter, i have heard mix revies, some say stick with standard drilled, some say performance ones. Can any one recommend me one, or geive me some plus or munuses about some. I had a mate with a xe corsa and he had a special tube made to the air filter was directed to the bottom of the car to help it get a colder ai intake, is this recommended? and if yes does any one know where i can get the pipe etc. Cheers lads

Assuming you mean a 2.0:
Most people go for either a K&N or a Green induction kit.
You can make the original airbox fit but its very close to the cam belt cover, which could be awkward should you need to change it.

I prefer the look of the engine bay on an XE corsa with the airbox replaced, looks miles better IMO.

Cheers for the pic, was it drilled? would you say a better option than a air filter? is the one in the link any good for a c20xe?
