Just 1 question. Is it true that a good air filter can increase engine power & efficiency. If so, what air filter do u lot recommend?

Helping your engine breath better can only be a good thing. If, however the filter start's to suck in warm air you will lose power. This is why people fit cold air feed's (usually a flexi hose) Ideally an enclosed filter such as a Viper/Black Mamba is best.

I take it a cold air feed isnt a standard device fitted by vauxhall then? If so how much 4 the air feeds?

No, just go to b&q and see if they sell flexi hose - Probably a few quid.

A marginal improvement yes. Expect more throttle repsonse more than horsepower. Ultimatley just expect more noise!
