how much is it for a K&N for corsa C, and i had a look at the engine..it looks tricky to fit.....if so can any1 who has a K&N please post a pic of the engine bay so i can have a look..is it rally worth getting an induction kit? willl i get increased gains?

About 70 odd quid i should think, or you could drill your airbox, and put an aftermarket filter in!

Took my mate ages to recongnise the holes in my airbox!!! He was wondering where the sound was coming from!

Potentially you can get increase BHP from drilled air box and high flow filter, but you will only find 1 maybe 2 more horsies.

wow big cone!.. i looked at the airbox and there are loadsa wires clipped onto the filer what do i do...will be better better of with just a panel filter?

get too many flat spots wiv an induction kit.iv got a pipercross on my corsa C and im takin it off n gettin a panle filter wiv drilled air box.

is the induction kit just a cone and a long tube that connects to the circle thing in the middle?..what about the sensor?

yeh tahst it all iv done is tyrap the sensor were it normally clips on the box

panel filter and drilled air box gives more bhp gains than a induction kit, its proven

Defeats purpose of drilling box mate!! The air filter is there to remove dust. Just make sure you drill the box BELOW the filter, it has been known for some to drill above the filter, creating the problem you speak of!

look in the guides section mate, i done 1 in their on drilling air boxes

anyway u drill below the air filter, if u take the top off the air box u see the air filter, then look on the outside of the box and ull see a line going across, this is the line u must drill below, not above

this is cos the reason u have a air filter is to filter the air, if u let air in above the air filter it goes straight into the inlet manifold unfiltered = not good

whats so good about BFO cone from pvd....? is it just something that u stick on the original hose..just remove air box?...is it better than k&n or panel filter?
