brought new set of nkg plugs 2day from halfords, compared them to the old ones, they are the same size, but the skocket size on them is different, so the old skocket i used to use to take them out is to small, i brought a tool from halfords fits the plugs perfect but wont fit down the hole to get to the plugs its to big, any help please ?
car is a corsa 1.4 8v
please help asap

yeah i got one tube off, but cant get the other 3 , is there a tool, how does everyone else get them off ?

well its metal , no not the cover when you buy the sparks, the cover in the engine bay covering the spark plugs which the ht leads go on, any idea ?

Its the wrong plugs mate, this happened to my dad because he bought ones for the wrong year.

take the plugs back and get the correct 1's from vauxhall. people always seem to keep away from vauxhall as they think they are more expensive, maybe sometimes yeah but no by much.

i take it your plugs are the twin contact so they are £3.08 each+vat

got them from halfords looked in book and said 1.4 8v corsa and got corret plugs for it, but some reason the skocket size on them is bigger to my old ones
shall i get a new set ?

you can get a slim socket on them

will it be slimer than the halfords spark plug remover tool ? as think size is bout 20mm on the plugs as 19mm spanner was just off,
has anyone moved the metal tube type things which ht leads go in ? and spark plug

Sure they are 93-95 95 and on.

It should tell you the year in the book mate. JUst need to change them for the correct ones. This is deffo your problem.

i have a 3/8th drive spark plug socketnot the halfords one and it fits fine

but saying that what did you use to take the old plugs out with? you could take that tool to halfords and swap the the plugs for ones that wil fit with that socket?

You have the wrong plugs bythe sound of it. Just get them changed!
