is it worth replacing the seals etc. I am taking the engine out tonight and wanting to replace most of the seals etc try get the thing running properly

Dunno mate but i hope you just find a pipe thats not connected and it solves all your problems

how hard is it to do on an x16xe.
i dont think its gone as there is no mayo etc but if i was to get a gasket set few other seals and that would be all id need, replace couple sensors

But really.. dont start anyhting without a good manual..
i am using opel's TIS-sofware and a haynes manual
however im not putting the belt back on myself.. want to be sure it's on properly so that bit will be done bij the local opelgarage
