few months ago my bonnet had a smokey/milky "DOTTED" patch on one small area of the bonnet to one side... i thought a few polishes later it will fine but it has recently turned into a big white/smokey/milky patch which has peeled of, just the lacquer though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND it has spread to two other areas of the bonnet!!!

wtf has happend????????

i polish it once a month n wash it every two weeks or so!
but the bonnet i have noticed has been in pretty bad shape, gets dirty/dark quick and not as shiny as rest of paint work!

If it is a mess get it rubbed down an repsrayed
make sure the paint hardens before you polish it

really, as far as i know the car was all factory standard!!

maybe the last 4 owners might have had it resprayed after front collision etc, but are the sypmtons on my bonnet a case of a bad respray job or just because its not been looked after well in the last 10 years??

also the colour match was almost perfect to the rest of the body, i mean i never noticed any difference at all!!
