^^ not necessarily. You can get amps that take an amplified source.
Id personally advise getting a after market head unit, off the net, with a facia if need be from ford in your case I assume?

Ok i will probably get a head unit then. I don't even know what wires to wire it up with as my brother wouldn't take mine out of his car before he sold it. Where do you get the wires from?
