ive took my corsa sport twice now for mot and bith times its nearly double, ive put the airbox back on and the egr valve but its still high!!! has anyone any idea of whatcan be causing this or how to have it fixed? thanx all

is it running rich at all?

yeah the test centre said its running rich could the cat cause this?

cat wouldnt cause it to run rich, but could cause an mot fail if its faulty.

mine was lambda or '02 sensor'...

thats wat im guna try i think how far out was it with your lambda sensor?

cant remember exact readings i got but was waaaaay out. was surprised at how much of a difference it made, was because with broken lambda sensor it was running too rich at idle and low engine speed but at higher engine speed was running too lean, completely messed up air/fuel ratio basically..
