selling. the valve seals have gone, but been told they arent expensve to replace. also its still on the car 2 of the head bolts sheared off, so gonna drill them out later in the week

im not sure, it was done when i bought the car. but all the rest of the stuff was either bought by or done by SBD, and the guy i bought the car off said something about it being a SBD group N head? it had all standard cams etc in though

grp n means normal, it wont be modified just blueprinted maybe, made to the best tollerances that it was oriinally designed to be.

it definately wasnt normal mate, so not a group n. the ports on the inlet for the tb's was huge when i put it up against a standard manifold gasket
have fun driiling the head bolts out they are a right bitch. get some cutting oil and some really good drill bits and it wont be so bad. i burned out a new drill when i had the same thing on mine
you need to drill down about 15mm starting with a small bit then right the way up to a 10mm bit to get the head of the bolt off. and be care full you dont damage the face of the head where the rocker gasket sits. i put a small dent in mine and it leaks oil.
if i were you i would take it to an engineering place to be done, a lot less hassle! probably do it in 10 mins.

If the ports are taken out as big you say they are then it's only useful for a extreme engine, most gas flowing work doens't involve makign th eports big, more reshapeing the vlave throarts and seat area, a large port mean large air flow and crap low throttle airspeed.
