I no very little about these, but i think these are wots stoping my car from working at the moment...

The front is jacked up and both wheels still move with ignition, clutch drag im told its called. BUT i can shake the driver side driveshaft and not the other so i guess this one has popped out? When i put the car in gear (still jacked up) the passenger side moves quicker with revs, but the driver side doesnt, so i guess this is right taht the drivers one is out?

When i tried to drive after my little accident last night i couldnt go anywhere, if one drivehsaft was still connected wouldnt this wheels still go?

Im not the most mechanically minded so be nice, im learning...

Ok, tried again today and i still havent really got anywhere. I began by thinking it had just popped out so tried hitting it back in. However after another fone call to mr mitchell we decided the driveshaft had snapped, so i started to take it apart. A good few hours later im now left with these bits...

So now i need to know if anything here is actually broken, as it doesnt look it to me. The driveshaft looks ok, even tho i have no idea wot im looking for. The other bit (CV Joint?) that was by the gearbox seems ok, although it doesnt looks too circular anymore... should i worry about this?

What do i have to no now lads?

Cheers for any input. as a reward you can have something to photoshop

please dont say that

i dont no about these things, but im gonna say no not the gearbox. The shaft was wobbling about not connected to the cv. Plus when i had the car in the air with the engine running the cv was still spinnin around, it just wasnt passing it onto the shaft and wheel

def cv joint? not shaft? is it a special cv joint for the conversion, or just a standard vx part?

heres a better pic. im a bit worried about the chunk missing around the bottom of the chunky bits. Thats the only bit like that all the way round
