I have a 2.2 dti sri veccy, this is my install:
basically 2 8" screens
ps2 slim off inverter (will be proper power supply when it comes out)
pioneer headunit
i want to put a second battery in my boot with a split charge relay, any suggestions for the battery? ideally to be able to watch a full movie without starting the engine
cheers

aye, a yellow top would do nicely - but it means having to wire the ps2 and lcd's to the battery in the rear so you could get one, replace it with the front and see how that goes. If not go for a split charge system - although i would see if you can mount the second battery at the front as its a bit of a waste running power cables up to the back and then back down again
also, if your using an invertor for the ps2, then go on a hunt for a 12v PSU for the ps2 slim - as that will save your a shed load of power itself, over an invertor

yesh, i am going for a split charge. Will prob mount batt in the boot as i will be putting amps in and will need the power there for them anyway. If the relay is up the front i guess theres no reason why i cant tap off the second battery cable at the front of the car, will be easier, as long as i am the correct side of the battery, shouldnt be a problem?
How long do you think a yellow top will last with that lot? Will buy a proper power supply as soon as they are available!
Cheers Dom!

yea should be fine if you tap it off after the relay and fuse But yea, if your having amps then it would be easier for the back - but just pop in a dizzy block at front for the lcds/ps2 etc
As for the PSU, you can buy ps2 slim PSUs now mate - do a search in the ice section and there was a thread with a few people posting links to them etc
And how long will it last, well how longs a piece of string? depends if your going to be using your subs/amps etc as well (which im guessing you obviously will) - at a wild guess, you might just scratch 90minutes worth of usage, but without the subs/amps and using a decent ps2 slim psu, you would easily beable to watch a full length film
