hi i got a 1.4 corsa 8v. im getting a sort of thrashing noise when its ticking over. it seems to go when i increase the engine speed. any ideas. most prob major lol.

So it goes quiet when you increase revs?

Errr, could be fraying alternator belt catching on something, might be blowing exhaust gasket, although thats more of a constant ticking in relation to engine speed... any idea where on the engine its coming from?
