hi i changed my old 97 bumper for the new facelift one so i could put on any aftermarket grill but its a non vauxhall copy bumper it fits on the car fine but for some reason i can't easily fit my new fk grill it goes in but wont fit flush at the base of the front of it so you can see the holes were it is supposed to clip in? is this because its not a genuine vauxhall bumper or what? do i need to break off the clip things at the bottom and then screw it in or something? i dunno if anybody else had trouble fitting theres?

the bumper on mine is a pattern one. i also have the FK grill. i have a small gap at the bottom but have just put up with it. If its aint big i wouldnt bother. i wudnt break the clips off tho.

do you have a pattern bumper then Richard Lee or is yours a genuine vauxhall one? cuz i wanna know if it can be fitted properly with no gap into a pattern bumper or not cuz if i don't wanna push to hard and break it accidently or anything.

i have post97.
if you're still scared, take the whole bumper off, so you can see where you're pushing.
like i said, it clips into place with a bit of force.

my pattern bumper was about £70 k10E W when i push the bumper and grill together it feels like nothing is happening and they just move apart again it doesn't feel like it would ever clip together perhaps the holes to fit the grill in the genuine vauxhall bumper are bigger or smaller? or perhaps im not pushing hard enough i dunno?
