Just put new engine and box in... get all the gears but the lever is sloppy and horrible (reminds me of my old escort :lol , what could it be, the linkage all looks ok to me... i'm stumped

my gearlinkage went 3 times on my corsa! its like u put it in gear but can pull it all the waay back to nutral with it still in gear !

the plastic balljoints on the linkage are fecked you need a new linkage... expensive too £100+

How bizarre. I had a bowl of Covent Garden soup today, felt like I was changing gears. Nice shortshift, but I couldn't get into 5th and missed the croutons

Could be play in the stick, lift up the gaiter and have a wiggle, you can also replace the pin that links the linkage to the box, its about £1 from Vauxhall and make a big difference.
