was thinking 8 gauge, but could be totally wrong.

I'll be getting some comps up front with at least 80watt RMS. Also have an Alpine 9812RB. What gauge speaker wire would people suggest I used? Any particular make and where from?

noticed that Caraudiodirect charge 6.99 for delivery!!!??? Pfft!

u dont use 8 gauge for normal speakers, 12 gauge is plenty.

Get the wire from www.bladeice.com You may as well just get a 2 channel wiring kit, your not going to need mad wire with a amp for components.

yep thats the one, its very good for the money, the Knu Koncepts stuff isnt well known but it is a very good quality brand and none too dear either.

i wudnt bet on that m8!!

The only place where you WILL have trouble is at the multiplug, tbh id just wire this wire to the plug either side, not try to push/cut it through...

i think i understand what you're saying, you mean have the Karma Kable going from the head unit to the plug just before it disappears into the door, (then normal wire inside the plug) then from the other side of the plug to the components?

yup, although if you are running off a hu, i wudnt bother changing the wire...

ah i see. For the moment they'll be running of the h/u, i'll soon be getting an amp though.

Is it a 'Power cable' that runs from the H/U to the Amp?

reomte lead from hu to amp, power lead from battery to amp, earth from car body to amp, RCA's from hu to amp and speaker wire from amp to speakers.

You would get all of this in a wiring kit.
