iPhone 5 was done when Steve was still about but yeah parts of the OS have become disjointed. Apart from the durability of the anodisation on the the black model the hardware's still epic and can't fault the CS if there are any problems.

Really liking some of the JB tweaks.

Saw a screen protector on kickstarter the other day that stops your screen cracking if you drop it, could be useful.

I bought a Cygnett Urbanshield in the end of the bay, see what its like. I found the case on my 4 was shite as it let dirt etc get in behind the case and mark the back!

sounds like marketting BS to me. Even car windscreens that are laminated and toughened crack on impact.

I cannot see how a piece of film can stop the glass behind it cracking

I dropped my iPhone face down on tarmac last week. No screen protector or case on. Didn't crack the screen. Dropped it down the stairs a few months ago too on to a tiled floor at the bottom, again no damage Think I've just been very lucky

"Real-world usage has shown time and again that when Android users exhibit common sense, the threat of malware and viruses isn't just extremely limited — it's almost non-existant."

The key phrase in that sentence being "when Android users exhibit common sense" - you and I know not to download wonky pirated stuff to our phones or follow links to dodgy websites we're not familiar with from junk emails - but many people will click on anything with wanton disregard for security; the people that you keep having to go round to their house and uninstall browser "smiley toolbars" and the like for them because they are fucktards.

the sheer amount of wannabe ps4/xbox 720 testers on facebook, and people liking and sharing pages to win free things from "official apple giveaway" and "ghonestlyenuinebeatsbydre.com" and suchlike, proves to me the vast majority of internet users exhibit zero common sense when promised free stuff and will happily click on anything, put their passwords anywhere that looks legit, and give away most of their personal information.

It's hilarious until you remember that they've got your phone number, address and email address in their phone.

That's just like my Aunty and Uncle. Every time I go round there's a new search or smiley toolbar been installed in IE that I have to get rid of. Always the same "don't know how that's happened". I do, you clicked on something you shouldn't have

Google Now coming to iOS. With all these exclusive Google features coming to iOS (and in some instances being better) there's soon going to be nothing left to buy an Android for.
