Wedding and house. To put it in a short way. Can't be dealing with spending any more money on fixing/replacing/modding. Also looking forward to not being a slave to it and having free weekends etc

How much roughly would you be wanting for this? Shame that you have to sell it.

Not sure Robin. Will probably split as cant get them functioning 100% in the car. Think it's a ballast issue so will more than likely split the lot as its worth a fair bit.

Thought you where selling anyway lol

I maybe tempted if you do sell mate; should be getting a company car soon and really want a bit of a toy for sunny days. Will keep my eye on this thread

If your buying a brand new car theres no way selling will possibly save money... Why not just tell the truth and say you fancy a change?

Brand new cars don't require money being spent on repairing every 5 minutes.

If it's frugal, it'll be cheaper to run, cheaper to tax and cheaper to insure.

Our focus gets 46mpg average, £99 for service, £30 a year ved and 500 quid insurance a year (23 y/o, 1 year full license)

John what I save in fuel will pay for the car, the rest is buttons. Its not "cheap" but then its less of a compromise and I end up with fixed costs and zero hassle for the next 2-4years. Especially considering things like servicing and tax are non existent.

Sort of, but thats just down to personal circumstances changing and no longer being able to justify slinging money at my project. Thats just hidnsight. If I had the money, I would keep it.

The car has appreciated in 2years and 15odd thousand miles, so not like I had any depreciation to stomach like a normal car. Not the end of the world.
