I think Fergie will get the best out of him....but how good that "best" is remains to be seen. The first few games of the season will show us all

even though my hatred for man u still remains strong....

youve gotta hand it to fergie. michael owen's a quality player even tho he's had a shit spell at newcastle.

i hate to admit it. but its very smart managing by fergie

Fergie can't lose really, owen has jumped at the chance to play in the CL etc again, never could he have even imagined a top-half team never mind the champions signing him.

He;ll have accepted a pay-as-you-play type deal with a small basic salary.

He'll get on with fergie straight away, common interest (horses). And with how united play, he will score goals

I think it might come to be a good signing, but he needs to buy someone who is proven also, not a crock

I think the ridicule of Owen has gone overboard. At the end of it, a few clubs would've been silently interested in him this summer on a free.

I reckon he'll get his fair share of goals next year.

Hull, Stoke, Everton, Villa and United.

Apart from United though no one took any interest, and I'm still shocked by whats happened! Allardyce saying its too risking, which you can see his point then we go and sign him!
