Definitely something wrong with the vents if you need the door open. I know someone that has the same problem with their wood burner

Has it only got one vent adjuster looking at the photo of it? It looks like you can only adjust screenwash and not draw.

There's a screen wash vent above the door and one below which has the tiniest opening in it.
