The car I have now had a timing belt snap on its old engine, so was replaced by Vauxhall with a new unit before I bought it. I have the receipt for the repair, which came to a total (including labour, fluids etc) of £1750.
That was for a new x16xe around a year ago.



all i have to say is:

whoever paid that must be sooooooo stupid


not really considering new engine + labour. Dont kno about u but i find changing the dash lights complicated enough - rather let vauxhall charge that and have vaux F.S.H.

considering what you could build and sell for alot more money by spending 1750 its a bit daft to end up with what you started with...
