If it was me I'd lose the toilet mat. Everything else is cool though. But that's just me. Your house etc.

I've reserved 3 for collection. One for each bathroom. Kids will like them if nothing else!

Went to tool station.

Annoying thing about the coat hook is I can't mount it in the centre of the door, will have to be off to one side. It's going on the inside of the under stairs cupboard so it doesn't actually matter I guess, but still.....

Remote control surge protector means I can switch stuff off at the plug as I can't currently reach them with the size of the tv being in the way. Plus it's remote control, which is useful and cool.

We got our blinds from Blinds2go - all good here.
Only went for Rollers as we aren't getting blinds for both sets of Patio doors.

ive got shelves in the cupboard and the fuse box is on the wall so that was kind of the best place. Plus you can open the door and grab a coat, don't have to go in the cupboard.

Yes but I think it looks a bit shit there. It would look half as bad if it was placed nearer to the top of the door.

How much was the extension lead thing mate? Seems a good idea. Does it have to be visible to be able to use it with the remote?

its an under stairs cupboard. It's not like you go in and shut the door behind you thus needing a handle to get back out

Why do you want to switch of your TV etc at the plug? And more to the point why do you want to use some Mikey Mouse looking Chinese remote control extension lead to do that?

Modern TV and STB use almost no energy in standby, I'd bet that stupid extension lead uses more and is probably a massive fire risk

I've just looked it up.. A 60" Samsung LED TV uses less than 0.3w of power when in stand by. I'll bet that shitty extension lead is consuming a hell of a lot more than that!

It shouldn't. It's for spare coats anyway as I've got a coat/hat stand for regular every day use. It arrived today so will get it built up and pictured. Also got a small bench thing for the hall which holds shoes and has drawers to put things in.

Bit of a fail. Measured up for where to mount the hooks in the wall for a mirror. Didn't really pay any attention to where the hooks were on the mirror itself. Fail.

Moved the hooks on the mirror and now re hung. No fail.
