Well we previously had 5x 40 watt bulbs in there, so ten times as much as the led's.

My electrics about 30 quid a month and i'm in £100 credit, so yes, definitely makes a difference.

I changed every lightbulb in my house to led ones a few years ago, including the ones in the fridge freezer and cooker etc.

Saves me a fucking fortune...

Hall shades x2 and the same for the landing





Red roller blind and dining room light fitting to be done at a later date. Well possibly might get the blind done tomorrow.

Any recommendations for bulbs? Would probably prefer a warm light than cool.

I have a mixture of minisun and osram bulbs. They were about 5 quid each. Expensive, but I was replacing bulbs every couple of months, so they pay for themselves very quickly.

Readily available from diy type places? Got a tool station over the road from my work you see. G9 I think the ones in the living room and bedroom light are.

Where are you getting these lights Nic? I want a new one for the living room and struggling to find one I like, I don't want a low hanging one but I don't want a spotlight, difficult to find

Living room one is from home base the rest are b&q. They had some very good options in b&q and they are not massively expensive.

That's the state of the living room currently. Shelves to go where the picture was taken and a new rug to get yet.

Kitchen looks great really happy with it.
