I'm not sure how smart it is to publicly admit to fraud on the internet, so you might not get too many replies in here.

A £140 box will be shit compared to sky, and there's a chance you'd get caught (albeit small).

You also don't deserve to get it cheaper because you haven't managed to search for the massive thread about it on here.

It's also not flashed or chipped, shouldn't be allowed them if you don't understand how it works.

Could you not say that about many of the posts on here ? 9 times out of 10 the questions people ask on here they will more than likely know a few people that could help but still post on here ??

and as for the not knowing how it works instead of ringing round people I thought there may be someone on here who could say yeah there good or no don't bother, and the reviews have helped and made me think twice about getting one

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

If your paying £70+ on a sky deal without sports u r been robbed. £33 for movies sports the lot off dan. And its £140 for a shit box then a monthly sub of around £8 (in most cases) as many have said its not a plug and play sort of thing can be very complicated.

Someone I know has one. I set it up for them , plugged into the tv then the router into the box. Gets every channel , was a one off payment of 150 then 70 a year.

If you're paying £140 for a "flashed box" then you're being robbed too!

The box they're likely to be selling is probably a "Skybox F3" or "Skybox F5", which can be had for about £45-55 on eBay. Then the cost of the "flashing", (which as mentioned, isn't flashing or chipping at all) can then be had for as low as £25.20 / year if you know where to look.

So whoever is selling this box to you is doubling up without even needing to import the boxes, or run the card share.

The price I put up with that is for the unlimited broadband and phone included

Also it's a one off payment that lasts 24 month and then 40 a year after that

Wouldn't bother buying more than 12 months at a time either, as the whole card sharing stuff could come to an end any time.

Surely if it's connected to the internet they'll know your not paying.

You don't use Sky's hardware, you have to buy a new satellite reciever that is compatible.

Apparently possible if using sky broadband but otherwise it's not sky hardware and all that can really happen is the server's cards gets shut down.
