Bought a pre-facelift 1.4 8v B today, I have a 1.6 sport B already and I was wondering if i will need to change anything in the x16xe loom to fit into the 1.4 8v?
Another question, would a 1.6 8v be a straight fit into the 1.4 8v shell?

I woulnt bother putting a x16 loom into a 1.4 8v, totally different. A 1.6 8v will fit into the 1.4 8v shell as the mounts are the same.

Just FYI the o/s mount differs on 16v and 8v shells. (8v cars with ac are the same as a 16v shell tho)
