asking for a friend of myn...
fitting a astra sri 1.9cdti engine into corsa c sxi 1.7dti????
has any1 eva tryed or done this Engine Conversion be for? is ther a conversion kit out ther he can buy?? will the engine even fit??
any help or ideas please

Don't think it's actually been done yet, but it is possible, probably not so easy on a dti model though. A little searching tells me you'd need standalone management for a start, and as noone has done it yet I doubt there is a conversion kit readily available. Probably a lot of work

Prob not much in it is there?
Get a bigger intercooler for his and up the boost.

yep alot init really i think my mtes engine standed somes with 80bhp and the astra 1 comes with 150bhp and you cam do alot more to then so i ahve been told
yer he has been thinking about bigger inercooler ect but afta all that to his he wil only get about 160bhp if hes luky
any1 pllz help???

Thought about a 2.2DTi 130bhp from a Vectra C?
This may be an easier conversion.

yes but a 1.9 cdti 16v has 150 bhp standard and can easily be tuned to 200bhp astra mk5 (888)

as adz_gsi has jusr sed the astra engine is smaller,easyer to get power out off ect
any1 do wer i can get custom engine mouts made as i think i may need them

I dont think it's been done to a C on here or migweb, vauxsport etc mate.
I know it's been done in a D though.
Id phone Chris Astley motorsport about Mounts\Info etc - Chris is a member on here called rallyman iirc.
